A.J Bike ready programme
On Thursday 17th November, Sam and Shaye visited us at Ahipara School. Sam taught us how to ride a bike safely by the road and on the road.
The things we got taught were to stand on the left because the cars are on the right. because you’re supposed to go the way the cars are going.
We also learned how to go as slow as a snail.
After learning how to ride by the road and how to go slow, we got to play a game called Floor is lava. Sam and Shaye had a little ramp, we all got one turn each on it. It was funny when we played the floor is lava because we hit each other with our bikes. We had to ride around in a circle and it got smaller and smaller till one person was left.
When we each had our turn to jump on the ramp, Matteo was last and he was turning left and right to get more speed and he jumped far. Asher, Matteo and Slade did the best jump.
